Harry Westover
Harry Clay Westover (1894-1983) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Southern District of California.
Westover was nominated by PresidentHarry Truman on September 23, 1949, to a new seat created by 63 Stat. 493; he was confirmed by the Senate on October 15, 1949, and received his commission onOctober 18, 1949. He assumedsenior status onDecember 31, 1965. He served the Southern District of California until his death onApril 14, 1983. Westover was succeeded in this position byWilliam Gray.
