Elections for theNew Hampshire House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held onNovember 4, 2014. Thesignature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Four candidates were unopposed in the Democratic primary, and four candidates were unopposed in the Republican primary.[1] The general election was contested by four Democrats and four Republicans. The Democrats wereRobert Cushing,Frank D. DeLuca,Michael Edgar, andGeorge D. Harvey. The Republicans participants wereTracy Emerick,Frederick Rice,Ken Sheffert, andDavid Wood. The initial vote count following the general election triggered a mandatory re-count that took place on Thursday, November 13, 2014.[2] Cushing, Emerick, Rice, and Wood defeated DeLuca, Edgar, Harvey and Sheffert in the general election.[3]
