George Carr
George Carter Carr (1929-1990) was afederal judge for theUnited States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Carr was nominated by PresidentJimmy Carter on November 21, 1977, to a seat vacated byCharles Scott; he was confirmed by the Senate on December 15, 1977, and received commissionthe next day. He served aschief judge from 1989 until his death onJanuary 26, 1990. Carr was succeeded in this position byAnne Conway.
