Gary believes that every child in North Carolina deserves to receive a high-quality education. He will work to increase funding for public schools, reduce class sizes, and ensure that students have access to the latest technology and resources. Gary is committed to investing in our teachers and supporting them with the tools they need to succeed. He ranks school safety as a top priority once elected.

SAFETY AND SECURITY
Gary knows that keeping our communities safe is a top priority. He will work to strengthen our law enforcement agencies and ensure that they have the resources they need to protect our citizens. Gary is committed to common-sense gun reform that keeps weapons out of the hands of dangerous individuals while protecting the rights of responsible gun owners. Gary strongly supports community law enforcement and partnership initiatives.

ECONOMY AND JOBS
Gary is committed to creating good-paying jobs for North Carolinians. He will work to attract new businesses to the state while supporting our local small businesses. Gary believes in raising the minimum wage and ensuring that all workers are treated fairly and with respect.

HEALTHCARE
Gary believes that healthcare is a right, not a privilege. He supports the recent NC Medicaid expansion. Gary is committed to protecting Medicare and Medicaid and ensuring that our veterans receive the care they deserve.
