John C. Moore, Jr., is the superintendent of the Galena Park Independent School District. Moore was appointed superintendent of the district in May 2020. Moore's previous career experience includes working in Galena Park ISD as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent, and associate superintendent.[1]
Past superintendents
- Angi Williams was the superintendent of the Galena Park Independent School District from 2011 to 2020.[1] William's previous career experience includes working as a counselor and administrator with the district.[2]

The Galena Park Independent School District board of trustees consists of seven members elected to three-year terms. All board members are electedat large by position.[3]
