Hollye Merton (R)
We must harden our schools in a manner as to not burden staff or students in the learning process.
We must preserve parental rights to ensure our society regains it moral compass within the family unit.
Hollye Merton (R)
I, like many others, understand that gun-free zones are magnets to deranged monsters that will do anything for a bit of fame. Our schools are soft targets and I will work diligently to make them very safe by working with community leaders to implement effective methods to deter and stop the senseless shootings. Our children should be safe in school and trying to ban guns will not work to this end.
I also do not like the current bill amendment process, wherein amendments are tacked on that have no bearing to the original bill. Each amendment should pertain directly to the original. This would also help eliminate wasteful spending which is strangling our communities and is not good for our economy.See also
