Elmer Scipio Dundy (1830-1896) was also afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the District of Nebraska.

He was nominated by PresidentAndrew Johnson on April 4, 1868. He was confirmed by the Senate on April 9, 1868, and received commission that same day.[1] He served on until his death on October 28, 1896. Dundy was succeeded in this position byWilliam Douglas McHugh.
