Edwin Yates Webb
Edwin Yates Webb (1872-1955) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.[1]
He was nominated by PresidentWoodrow Wilson on October 30, 1919 to a new seat created by 40 Stat. 1156. He was confirmed by the Senate onNovember 5, 1919, and received commission that same day. OnMarch 1, 1948, he assumedsenior status. He served until his death onFebruary 7, 1955.[1] Webb was succeeded in this position byDavid Henderson.
