Dennis L. Jones (b. April 5, 1941) is a formerRepublican member of theFlorida State Senate, representing District 13 from 2002 to 2012. He served in theFlorida House of Representatives from 1978 to 2000. He was House Minority Floor Whip from 1984 to 1986, Speaker Pro Tempore from 1998 to 2000 and Senate Majority Leader.

Biography

Jones attended Saint Petersburg Junior College and earned his D.C. from Lincoln Chiropractic College in 1963. His professional experience includes working as a Chiropractic Physician for Community Care Medical Center Limited Liability Corporation.
