Campaign themes

2014

The following issues were listed on Therrien's campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • Our Country is in CRISIS: Strengthen America with an experienced and strong minded candidate who has won the hard fights! He is highly educated and seasoned in our military's classified world with a no holds barred approach to solving National Security issues. Send this retired Cryptologic Naval Officer, former U.S. Marine to Congress and direct him to champion your views on the Hill.
  • Health Care: The Affordable Healthcare Act is drowning in its own unpaid premiums. Taxpayers that cannot afford to pay the monthly premiums are being strapped with a penalty charged by the IRS. This is absolutely irrational and stupid. But that is what is happening all over the United States. One has to wonder if the leadership is not trying to combine the physical health field with the mental health field when you realize how crazy it is to charge a taxpayer a penalty because they cannot afford to pay an outrageous premium.
  • Economy: Our feeble National economy is a product of failed policies and partisan legislation that has favored the haves at the expense of the have nots. Corporate Leadership failed in providing for the whole employee. They are taking the labor but not taking care of their career growth, healthcare needs, vacation and sick pay and maternity leave. Do you know what it costs to lose trained employees, hire new and then train them?
  • National Debt: Our Multi-Trillion Dollar Deficit is SMOOTHERING Us. With a 2% growth rate, the U.S. cannot afford the debt and higher taxes for the common man are coming to the rescue!
  • High Unemployment Rates: Our Unemployed are SUFFERING from a lack of high paying jobs. The global economy require a trained labor force not present in the U.S. and companies are leaving in Droves.
