Biography
Dan Foreman was born inLake Forest, Illinois. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1972 to 2000. He earned a bachelor's degree from Bradley University in 1975. His career experience includes working as a law enforcement officer and as a commercial pilot. Foreman is affiliated with the National Rifle Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Military Officers Association.[1]

Ascorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Noteworthy events
February 2018 ethics complaint
Idaho State Sen.Maryanne Jordan (D) filed an ethics complaint against Foreman after a tweet from an unverified account in Foreman's name told University of Idaho students to "go talk about killing babies with Maryanne Jordan." Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho public affairs director Paul Dillon said the students were at the Capitol to lobby for birth control and sex education legislation, not abortion. The account tweeted that it was not affiliated with Foreman and went offline.[10]
