Dal Lemmon
Dal Millington Lemmon (1887-1958) was afederal judge for theUnited States District Court for the Northern District of California and theUnited States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Lemmon died on April 26th, 1958.

Ninth Circuit
Lemmon was nominated to the Ninth Circuit by PresidentDwight Eisenhower on April 6, 1954, to a new seat created by 68 Stat. 871; he was confirmed by the Senate on April 27, 1954, and received commission onApril 29, 1954. He served the Ninth Circuit until his death onApril 26, 1958.[1]
Northern District of California
Lemmon was nominated to the Northern District of California by PresidentHarry Truman on January 17, 1947, to a seat vacated byMartin Welsh; he was confirmed by the Senate on February 5, 1947, and received commission onFebruary 7, 1947. He served the Northern District of California until he was elevated to the Ninth Circuit onMay 3, 1954.[1]
