Connecticut Auditor of Public Accounts

TheConnecticut Auditor of Public Accounts is a legislative position in the Connecticut state government. The state office is responsible for providing "independent, unbiased and objective opinions and recommendations" on financial and compliance matters.[1]

Current officeholder

Connecticut is the only state that has two legislative auditors: oneRepublican and oneDemocratic. The current Democratic auditor isJohn C. Geragosian and the Republican auditor isClark Chapin.[2]
