Clinton Woodbury Howard
Clinton Woodbury Howard (1864-1937) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Western District of Washington.
He received a recess appointment from PresidentWilliam Howard Taft on August 26, 1912 to fill a seat vacated byCornelius Holgate Hanford.[1] On December 3, 1912, he was nominated. The Senate, however, did not confirm this nomination, so his service ended on March 3, 1913. Howard was succeeded in this position byJeremiah Neterer. Howard died on February 23, 1937.
