Christian Cecil Kohlsaat
Christian Cecil Kohlsaat (1844-1918) was afederal judge on theUnited States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and theUnited States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.[1] Kohlsaat died on May 11th, 1918.

Seventh Circuit
Kohlsaat was nominated by PresidentTheodore Roosevelt onMarch 18, 1905. He was confirmed by the Senate and received commission that same day. He served until his death onMay 11, 1918.[1]
Northern District of Illinois
Kohlsaat was nominated by PresidentWilliam McKinley on February 23, 1899. He was confirmed by the Senate onFebruary 28, 1899, and received commission that same day. He served on this court untilMarch 24, 1905.[1] Kohlsaat was succeeded in this position bySolomon Hicks Bethea.
