• Economy: We have to overhaul our taxes and regulations to level the playing field for all businesses and consumers. America has one of the highest corporate tax rates in the world, but politicians carve out special tax breaks and subsidies for their big business donors. We should cut the tax rate, end corporate welfare, and outlaw bailouts.

• Health Care: With common sense, free market solutions, we can both improve care and decrease costs for everyone. While the Affordable Care Act did introduce some positive reforms, it largely expanded an already dysfunctional system, and I believe we can do better.

• Foreign Affairs: Our founding fathers never intended for the United States to be the world’s policeman. I’ll be a voice for a strong and ready military, but a foreign policy that puts America’s interests first.

• Civil Liberties: Overcriminalization rips apart families and cripples the economy, and the United States now has more prisoners than any country in the world. Meanwhile, we endanger property rights with overreaching policies like eminent domain and civil asset forfeiture. I’ll introduce sweeping reforms to reverse overcriminalization, restrain mass surveillance, and restore Americans’ right to privacy.

• Education: The federal government should get out of the way and unleash the great potential of American students, teachers, and families. Failed programs like No Child Left Behind and Common Core prove that one­-size-­fits all education doesn’t work – I support eliminating or narrowing the scope of Federal government’s oversight of education. Instead, I favor promoting school choice, and allowing local communities to take greater ownership over their schools.
