A proud conservative serving all citizens to bring transparency and responsiveness in government. A husband, father of two, Navy veteran and experienced business professional with a track record of engaging people for success. Graduate of US Naval Academy (engineering) and University of Delaware (MBA). Years of community engagement in our great state.
  • Citizens need to know what's going on in Dover - sunshine is the best disinfectant! All can learn about the hundreds of bills that are being discussed and voted on without public input or awareness.
  • Economic growth is vital. Delaware needs to have a strong, growing economy, to provide job opportunities and improved lives for everyone. The state government can no longer be the largest employer in state.
  • Strong education is critical for our future. The education system needs to be improved quickly to give our children and grandchildren the best chance at successful lives, no matter if they choose the trades, military, college, or other opportunities.
Transparency: citizens deserve to know what is going on in their government, and have an opportunity to input on and shape policy. Economy: a strong economy along with limited government and taxation help all citizens flourish. Education: we need to better prepare our next generations to be productive and engaged members of society.
Transparent, honesty, trustworthy, open communicator, be available to their constituents, principled to stand up for what is right.
Provide updates to constituents.

Solicit input and feedback from constituents and subject matter experts related to new issues and legislation.
Manage our state budget in a fiscally responsible way, aiming to keep it as small and impactful as possible.

Take steps to make government work for, and be responsive to, the people. Make it as efficient and as small as possible.
I cut grass in my neighborhood. I did this for about 6 years while I was a teenager.
Finances: we're outspending our revenue, which means programs need to be cut (or taxes will need to go up).

Growth: our state is shrinking, which is not good for the long-term health of our communities and families.

Education: Delaware has a poor-performing education system and is trending downward. This won't attract new families and businesses to move here.
Yes. The governor needs limited powers in this area to effect a quick response when needed. Any future extensions absolutely need to be approved by the legislature.
Fiscal transparency is a must, since all government money comes from money taken from taxpayers in some manner. People need to know what their money is being spent on.
Government exists to ensure and protect life, liberty and freedom for our citizens. It needs to be big enough to effectively protect our freedoms, yet as small as possible to limit its impact on our lives and finances.
