Chris Banning is a husband, father, businessman, community leader and veteran who served in Desert Storm / Shield (Operation Provide Comfort), Chris Banning has made an impact on local residents and veterans. He is currently the acting CEO of Banning Investment Group. Chris and his team were 1 of 427 recipients to be awarded the HIRE Vets Medallion Award, based on his commitment and dedication to hiring and enabling veterans.

In April of 1995, Banning volunteered to serve his community during the deadliest act of homegrown terrorism in American history. In the immediate wake of the Oklahoma City bombing, Banning was on the frontlines of rescue and recovery missions. For his service to Oklahoma City, he was awarded the Humanitarian Service Medal by the United States Armed Forces.

Beyond his commitment to veterans and local business, Banning’s companies provide support to charitable organizations, which include: St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Camp Sunshine, the American Cancer Society, and Convoy of Hope. As a devout and involved Christian, Banning’s faith compels him to give back to organizations that help to improve his community.
