Charles Tenney
Charles Henry Tenney (1911-1994) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Tenney was nominated by PresidentJohn F. Kennedy on July 22, 1963, to a seat vacated byAlexander Bicks; he was confirmed by the Senate on December 5, 1963, and received his commission onDecember 12th. Tenney was succeeded in this position byJohn Sprizzo. He assumedsenior status onJanuary 31, 1979, and served in that position until his death onNovember 11, 1994.[1]
