Charles Richey
Charles Robert Richey (1923-1997) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the District of Columbia.
Richey was nominated by PresidentRichard Nixon on April 14, 1971, to a seat vacated byEdward Curran; he was confirmed by the Senate on April 29, 1971, and received commission onMay 5. He assumedsenior status onJanuary 23, 1997, and served in that capacity until his death shortly thereafter, onMarch 19, 1997.[1]
