Charles Paul McClelland
Charles Paul McClelland (1854-1944) was afederal judge on theBoard of General Appraisers, which became theUnited States Customs Court during the time of his service thereon.
McClelland was nominated to the Board by PresidentTheodore Roosevelt. He was confirmed onDecember 7, 1903. He served aschief justice of the court, after it became the USCC, from 1934 until he assumedsenior status onOctober 1, 1939 He retired completely two weeks later, onOctober 15, 1939.[1] McClelland died on June 6, 1944.
