Charles Alvin Jones (1887-1966) was afederal judge for theUnited States Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit and a justice on thePennsylvania Supreme Court.

Jones was nominated to the Third Circuit by PresidentFranklin Delano Roosevelt on July 14, 1939, to a seat vacated byJohn Warren Davis (Third Circuit); he was confirmed by the Senate on July 18, 1939, and received commission on July 25. He resigned on December 31, 1944.[1] Jones died on May 22, 1966.
