Carolyn Squires
Carolyn Squires (b. September 25, 1940) is a formerDemocratic member of theMontana House of Representatives, representingDistrict 96 from 2011 to 2015. Squires did not seek re-election in 2014.
Squires previously served in the House from 1987 to 2001. She then served in theMontana State Senate, representing District 48 from 2003 to 2011.
Biography
Squires earned her A.A. in Arts and Sciences from Everett Junior College in 1962, and her L.P.S. from Missoula Vo-Tech in 1967. Her professional experience includes working as a Licensed Practicing Nurse.

2012
In a profile by theMissoulian, Squires opposed repeal of the Affordable Care Act. She said she "would support expanding Medicaid," and said that while natural resource development was good for the state in terms of jobs, benefits, and money to be used on schools, renewable energy should be brought forward as well for the sake of the environment.[1]
