He lost toDave Bowen in the Republican primary on May 15, 2012.Nate Murphy was unopposed in the Democratic primary, but later withdrew and was replaced byCarolyn Meline.^[2]Bob Croker is running as an Independent. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.^[3][4][5][6]
