Biography
Ben DeSmidt earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago in 1995 and a Ph.D. from Columbia University in 2006. His career experience includes working as the co-owner of Union Park Tavern and as an associate professor at Carthage College. DeSmidt has served as a member of the Gateway Technical College board of trustees.[1]
