- I am a proactive public health champion, leading the charge to help Massachusetts recover from COVID-19 and take steps to prevent other infectious disease crises in the future. I've been a longtime advocate for access to quality and affordable health care, and I believe no one should be denied a visit to a doctor because they lost their job and their health insurance.
- As State Senator, I've delivered results to our community. In addition to hundreds of millions of dollars in general local aid and funding for schools and transportation, I secured $250,000 for personal protective equipment and to get schools ready for students in our community. As the Chair of the Municipalities Committee, I helped pass legislation to ensure all households retain access to water and electricity despite falling behind on bills.
- I am a leading advocate of reproductive health care in Massachusetts. As Washington politicians and Beacon Hill conservatives continue to attack our reproductive health rights, I passed legislation to reduce racial disparities in maternal health and make midwives accessible. I actively support the ROE Act, which will protect and expand reproductive health care, while ensuring access if Roe v. Wade was ever overturned.
My first full-time job as an adult was as an associate attorney at a law firm. I held the job for 2.5 years before changing the focus on my practice and moving to a different firm.

Scorecards
Ascorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
