I pride myself on being out in the district and connecting with constituents face to face. Approachable, accessible, responsive government, is the hallmark of my team. I am known for my hard work ethic and commitment to Conservative Midwestern values along with unabashed leadership. That’s what I provide to voters.
  • ECONOMIC STABILITY: In this inflationary environment, families need more of their hard-earned money in their own pockets. I will fight for continued fiscal responsibility that accomplishes that goal.
  • EDUCATIONAL FREEDOM: I have heard the outcry of dissatisfied taxpayers and parents who feel indignant that their children are being deprived of an adequate education. I believe that parents know their kids best and that it’s past time that students start being put first when it comes to education. That is why I am a strong advocate of educational choice.
  • ELECTION INTEGRITY: Voters of every political persuasion deserve to feel confident that their vote counts. I have and will continue to support improving the security of our elections and legislation that removes opportunities for giving one party an unfair advantage.
I have several areas of public policy that I am personally passionate about. They include mental health and substance abuse, fighting for victims' rights, protection of life at every stage including adoption, workforce development, educational freedom, and medical freedom.
A good legislator not only needs to be a hard worker, but they also need to be willing to work with colleagues in productive ways to shape good public policy. I strongly believe that a legislator should be approachable and accessible to constituents, making every effort to spend a great deal of time out in their district having face-to-face contact with constituents.
The ideal relationship between the governor and state legislature would be for the governor to meet regularly with legislative leadership to find common ground and advance sound public policy.

Scorecards

See also:State legislative scorecards andState legislative scorecards in Wisconsin

Ascorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
