Arthur A. Liberty is a former supervisoryadministrative law judge for the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals, located in Cleveland, Ohio.[1] He retired from the bench in January 2017.[2]

Education

Liberty received a bachelor's degree from Excelsior College and aJ.D. from Chicago Kent College of Law. He also received a master's degree in Homeland Security Management from the University of Maryland University College. Liberty also completed a D.Sc. in civil security leadership, management and policy at New Jersey City University.[1][3]

In addition to the above, Liberty's professional experience includes working at the University of Maryland University College as an adjunct associate professor of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, teaching for the Healthcare Emergency Management master's program at Boston University School of Medicine, and working as the assistant managing editor for theJournal of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.[3]

Prior to attending law school, Liberty was employed as a local and federal law enforcement officer, a critical care nurse and a journalist.[1]
