Archie Dawson
Archie Owen Dawson (1898-1964) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Dawson was nominated by PresidentDwight Eisenhower on April 6, 1954, to a seat vacated byHenry Warren Goddard; he was confirmed by the Senate on April 23, 1954, and received his commission onApril 27th. He served until his death onAugust 3, 1964.[1] Dawson was succeeded in this position byConstance Motley.
