Angela D. "Angie" Spears (born April 1, 1974) was a2012Republican candidate forDistrict 7 of theNew Mexico State Senate.

Spears is the Clinical Director for TeamBuilders Counseling Services, Inc. She obtained her B.S. in psychology from Southwest Missouri University in 1997, and her M.A. in counseling services from Eastern New Mexico University in 2005.[1]

Spears ran in the2012 election forNew Mexico State Senate District 7. She ran againstMark W. Myers andJohn Patrick Woods in the Republican primary on June 5, 2012. IncumbentClinton Harden (R) did not run for re-election.Woods won the primary, defeating both Myers and Spears. No Democratic candidates filed for the district. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
