Andrew Gordon Magrath (1813-1893) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the District of South Carolina.[1]

He was nominated by PresidentFranklin Pierce on May 9, 1856. He was confirmed by the Senate onMay 12, 1856, and received commission that same day. He served until his death onNovember 7, 1860.[1] Magrath was succeeded in this position byGeorge Seabrook Bryan.
