Alexis Caswell Angell
Alexis Caswell Angell (1857-1932) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
He was nominated by PresidentWilliam Howard Taft on February 25, 1911 to fill a seat vacated byHenry Harrison Swan. He was confirmed by the Senate onMarch 2, 1911, and received commission that same day. He resigned onJune 1, 1912.[1]
