Biography
Adam Neylon was born inIllinois. He graduated from Carroll University. His career experience includes working as a legislative aide in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Neylon has served as a member of the Carroll University President's Advisory Council, the 100th Anniversary Capitol Commemorative Commission, the Assembly Speaker's Task Force on Foster Care, the Assembly Speaker’s Task Force on Artificial Intelligence, and Governor Walker’s Steering Committee on Autonomous and Connected Vehicle Testing and Deployment. He was selected to attend the Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development (BILLD) fellowship with the Council of State Governments in 2014.[1]

Thesignature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. IncumbentAdam Neylon was unopposed in the Republican primary afterBrian Miller (R) was removed from the candidate list before the primary. Neylon was unopposed in the general election,[6][7] and was re-elected for another term.[8]

Neylon won election in a special election forWisconsin State Assembly District 98. The seat was vacant followingPaul Farrow's (R) resignation after winning the December 4, 2012 special election for the District 33 seat in theWisconsin State Senate. Neylon defeatedEd Baumann,Todd Greenwald,Matt Morzy andJeanne Tarantino in the Republican primary on February 19 and was unopposed in the special election, which took place on April 2.[9][10][11][12][13][14]
