17日、The Aquariumにおけるブログにて、Java統合開発の次期メジャーリリースとなる「Eclipse 3.3 Europa」および「NetBeans 6.0」に対してGlassFishのサポートが追加された旨が発表された。両プロダクトはFLOSSアプリケーションとして公開されているJava統合開発環境としては最大規模のもの。その両統合開発環境においてGlassFishのサポートが追加されたことはGlassFishコミュニティとして意義深い。 Eclipse 3.3 Europaは今月末にはリリースされるとみられている。NetBeans 6.0は15日（米国時間）にMilestone 10の仕様策定が終了しており、次にリリースされるM10ではすでにGlassFishをWebア プリケーションサーバとして活用できるようになる。
