米Metaは11月25日（日本時間）、Instagram、Facebook、Messenger、WhatsAppなど自社SNS向け生成AIアシスタント機能「MetaAI」の提供を日本でも始めた。各SNS内に表示される専用アイコンをタップすることで、AIとのチャットや画像の生成・編集・動画化機能などが利用できるという。まずは一部ユーザーから提供し、段階的に拡大していく。AIアシスタントは各サービスのグループチャットで「@MetaAI」と入力する形でも呼び出しが可能。例えば友人と旅行の相談をしている最中に、具体的な計画をテキストでまとめてもらうといった使い方ができるとしている。 同名のWebサービス上でも日本語でのサービス提供を開始した。こちらも各SNSから利用する場合と同じ機能が利用できるという。MetaAIは米国などで4月から先行提供が始まっていた。 関連記事 まだ早い？ 意外と便
