Harriet Hageman assumed office in the U.S. House of Representatives representing Wyoming's at-large congressional district on Jan. 3, 2023.

Hageman was born and raised on a ranch near Fort Laramie, Wyoming. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming in 1986 and her law degree from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1989. Her first job was as a law clerk for federal appeals judge James Barrett. She then began practicing law in the private sector throughout Wyoming, Nebraska and Colorado. In 2004, she co-founded the Wyoming Conservation Alliance.

Hageman was a delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention from Wyoming. She was a candidate for Wyoming governor in 2018, losing in the primary.
