Key to genera |Key to species

Description

Embolus broad, with keel on its base. Epigyne with ± parallel cuticular ridge in posterior area. Body colour: light red-brown, with shiny golden hairs, sternum, opisthosoma and legs distally darker. distance between posterior median eyes = distance between posterior lateral eyes and posterior median eyes. Opisthosoma with dark chevrons.

Body length male: 5.1-7 mm
Body length female: 6-9.4 mm
Additional information

In forests, humid areas (bogs, deciduous forests), heathland, dry meadows and on debris areas, in moss, leaf litter and on bark. Lantern-like cocoon with thin stalk attached to plants ("fee-lamp"), camouflaged with clumps, a moulting chamber for the offspring in it next to egg chamber (with 40-60 eggs)
