Horror puzzle narrative game

You are a regular Joe living a regular life. Got a mundane job, greets some of the neighbors daily on your way to said work, but there has always been this underlying anxiousness that you haven’t been able to shake off ever since you moved in. Sometimes you notice a movement in your sight's corner, other times it may be a low screech that creeps up during silent dawns.

You have tried to ignore and bury this for many years without sucess and after countless sleepless nights, you have decided to book a therapy session to vanquish this irrational fear that has haunted you for the past decades…

The Game

Iconotherapy is an "alternate controller" puzzle game:

- Player has to find pictograms in images and click on the button with the corresponding image on the keyboard.

Context

We built Iconotherapy in 4 days in 2023 for the Godfather week at theIIM Digital School in Paris. We had a lot of fun working on this project, so we hope you'll also enjoy it as much as we did making it!

How to Play

Played on Game Jam 2023's The Terminal

- Puzzle levels: the player has to find pictograms in images and press the button with the corresponding image on the keyboard before the time runs out.
