New Features:• CarPlay: you can access "Latest News" and "Story Stream" directly via Quick Listens on the CarPlay Home Screen.• Latest News: we've added timestamps on news briefings to stay up to date with the latest the local and national news. Bug Fixes:• Restarting the radio now restarts the stream from the current broadcast point, fixing issues where the livestream gets was out of sync with the broadcast.• Long "Now playing" titles no longer cause text to warp or icons to be hidden.• Magic Tap for VoiceOver users now correctly plays or pauses the app, whether it’s in the foreground or background.• Home Screen Refresh: Pulling down to refresh on the home screen now always updates the radio stations list.Crash Fixes:• Module Panning: Fixed a common crash related to panning across modules.• Episode Sharing: Sharing certain episodes no longer causes the app to crash.

9.3 is a bumper new release, focussed on car listening, performance & sharing.Major improvements- Carplay now has Your Listen. Access favourite programs, stations & downloaded episodes from your carplay-enabled dashboard.- Skip, play, pause using your steering wheel controls and headphones.- Further improvements to battery usage and performance while in background.- Share radio stations.- Audio segments now appear in search.Smaller bug fixes & improvements- Fixed bug where some users would tap "Local & Recommended" and go to a blank page.- When pressing "play" on an episode, the button animates much more smoothly.- Fixed crash related to scrolling across on demand modules.- Downloads are cleared when a user opts to reset their app from within settings.- When using screen reader, the play/pause button on the Radio Stations rail now correctly announces its "play" or "pause" state.- Scrolling homepage is now smoother.- Timestamp on episodes no longer missing for audio published within last 48 hours.- Fixed UI bug when opening transcripts, where text from previous screen was briefly shown over the transcript screen.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback on the latest version. The team are working very hard in fixing bugs and returning some favourite features to the newly rebuilt app.Easily noticeable improvements in this release:- Sharing of Episodes and Segments- Clearer signposts of how to localise the app.- Significant performance improvements, thus lower battery use, device heating and app shutdown.Further fixes & improvements:- Reseting the app now deletes locally stored favourite stations, rather than holding onto that information.- Resetting or logging out no longer turns Autoplay off.- Accessibility label on station info icon.- Sleep timer is more obvious when it is active- Homepage won't crash when certain types erroneous episodes are added.- ABC profile location used for localisation.- Removed case where invalid episodes would overwrite the true episode, leading to failed playing.- Reduced padding between homepage rail items (more content visible at a time).- Listening history syncing more accurately for logged in users.- Homepage collections better cached, so faster load times.- Play button faster to update when pressed.- Hiding invalid collections on the homepage.- Remove expired content from Jump Back In.- Better handling of swipe gesture for assistive devices when navigating to radio stations.- Fixed a crash when the mini-player is clicked.- Pressing "home" when scrolled down the page scrolls the listener to the top of the page.- Regional briefings now consistently showing their logo.- Episodes shorter than 5 minutes no longer appear in Jump Back In. This was done to reduce the amount of segments with short shelf life and low likelihood to need to be "finished" filling up Jump Back In.
