yes you can fix it but it will cost, buy it on steam, the reason you are getting this is because you bought the file and ran it without without itch or steam

this is happening because you are running among us from a .exe file you fix this by buying the game on steam

because your a guest

everyone calm down, so first of all the reason you cant use freechat and change your name is because your playing as a guest, and inersloth did it for safety reasons. The next problem is people have errors signing in, but inersloth is bug fixing and be patient  if you found new bugs report it in inersloths server.

no its not a bug you have to sign in to use free chat and quick chat is for guest the problem is that so many people are getting errors making accounts like me

If you want to update read this

For mobile, go to google play or app store and search among us click update

For PC, and itch.io, it will automatically updates

Now for steam, 

you have to:

1. Launch Steam and head over to your library.
2. On the left side-bar, right-click on the Among Us icon.
3. Select properties from the list that appears.
4. Click on beta.
5. Select public beta. And then click on close. The game should update automatically after that.
