It is demonstrated that CA promotes osteoblast differentiation via AMPK/Smad1/5/9 expression in vitro and in vivo and used a zebrafish model to investigate the effect of CA on bone development to suggest that CA stimulated bone development via AM PK/SmAD1/ 5/9.

Synergistic Effect of Sesamin and γ-Tocotrienol on Promoting Osteoblast Differentiation via AMPK Signaling

The present study presented the first line of evidence to verify the synergystic effects of sesamin and γ-T3 on alleviating osteoporosis, and revealed their effects were realized by modulating the AMPK pathway.

Policosanol Stimulates Osteoblast Differentiation via Adenosine Monophosphate-Activated Protein Kinase-Mediated Expression of Insulin-Induced Genes 1 and 2

Results show that policosanol increases osteogenic differentiation and contributes to fin regeneration in zebrafish via AMPK-mediated INSIGs expression, suggesting that policoanol has potential as an osteogenic agent.

Prediction and Verification of Epimedium Flavonoids With Different Glycosylation Numbers in Reversing Glucocorticoid-Induced Bone Formation Inhibition by Molecular Docking and Zebrafish

The glycosyl groups increased the H-bond affinity between flavonoids and target sites, which weakened bone formation and predicted and verified the effect of icaritin, icariin, and baohuside-I in reversing glucocorticoid-induced bone formation inhibition by molecular docking and zebrafish model.

lncRNA ZNF710-AS1 Acts as a ceRNA for miR-146a-5p and miR-146b-5p to Accelerate Osteogenic Differentiation of PDLSCs by Upregulating the BMP6/Smad1/5/9 Pathway

Overexpression of ZNF710-AS1 significantly increased the osteogenic differentiation ability of PDLSCs by upregulating the expression of BMP6 and phosphorylation-SMAD family member 1/5/9 and competitively sponging miR- 146a-5p/miR-146b-5P and acting as a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA).

Chrysophanol exerts a protective effect against sepsis-induced acute myocardial injury through modulating the microRNA-27b-3p/Peroxisomal proliferating-activated receptor gamma axis

It is revealed that Chrysophanol guarded against sepsis-mediated acute myocardial injury through dampening inflammation and apoptosis via the miR-27b-3p-PPARG axis, adding to the references for treating sepsi-AMI.
