The changes in the orbital periods of two EA-type eclipsing binaries, RT Per and TX UMa, are studied in detail, based on the analysis of their times of minimum light. For RT Per, it is shown that the trend of the O-C curve can be described by a parabola opening at the bottom, which indicates a secular period decrease at the rate dP/dt = -9.29 × 10-8 days yr-1. By subtracting the secular decrease in the O-C curve, the residuals display an oscillatory variation that can either be described by a…

O - C curves of two EA‐type eclipsing binaries, TY Peg and X Tri, are formed and studied in detail based on all available times of light minimum. For TY Peg, it was discovered that the general trend

Orbital period variations of four Algol-type eclipsing binaries: SWCyg, UU Leo, XX Cep and BO Vul

The orbital period behaviours of four Algol-type eclipsing binaries SW Cyg, UU Leo, XX Cep and BO Vul are studied, by using all available times of minimum light in the literature. Their O – C

A Double Wave in the Orbital-period Variations of the Eclipsing Binary RT Per

Orbital-period variations of the low-mass, semi-detached eclipsing binary RT Per are analyzed. In addition to the secular variation of the orbital period determined by the mass transfer between the

TZ Lyrae: an Algol-type Eclipsing Binary with Mass Transfer

We present a detailed investigation of the Algol-type binary TZ Lyrae, based on 55 light minimum timings spanning 90 years. It is found that the orbital period shows a long-term increase with a

Results of a new light-curve analysis and period variation study of the eclipsing binary IM Aur are presented. Four solutions are given according to the dierent spectral types of the primary,

Long-Term Orbital Period Variations for EU Hydrae

Long-term period variations of an Algol-type eclipsing binary star, EU Hydrae, are presented based on an analysis of its O - C curve. As in the cases of other Algols studied in recent papers by one

The Near-Contact Binary RU Ursae Minoris

The near-contact binary RU UMi with an F0-type primary and a K-type secondary was observed in 2003. With the latest version of the Wilson-Devinney code, the photometric elements were computed. The

Period investigation of Algol systems TZ Eri and TU Her

TZ Eri and TU Her are both classic Algol-type systems (Algols). By observing and collecting times of minimum light, we constructed the O – C curves for the two systems. The long-time upward and
