おとぼけビ～バ～の国内でのワンマンライブは数百キャパでも当日券が出ることがあり、過大評価に感じるし、音楽性も速い曲一辺倒で見ていて飽きます。
また歌詞も「ジジイis waiting for myreaction」など中高年男性を蔑視する曲があり、見ていて辛くなる時があります。
女性メンバーがいる日本のロックバンドで、洋楽のサポート、前座、対バンをするバンドは他にもありますが、あまりに出過ぎではないでしょうか

毎月1日にアイスを食べている外国人が驚く動画とは、日本のフォッ毛などのユーザがアップロードする毎月の定期。
そもそもの動画は海外のYoutuberであるjallerboがアップロードした『Spongebobreactionnigger』という動画が元となっている。
これは『スポンジボブ』のMAD動画に近いYoutube Poop（YTP）で、「『スポンジボブ』にて黒人を指す蔑称であるNigger（ニガー）を題材としたエピソードタイトルのコール」に対してのjallerboのリアクションを見る動画だが、
このリアクションがあまりにも良いということから、海外の方ではYTPの部分などを別の人種差別スラングなどに改変するといった流行を見せていた。
フォッ毛がこの動画を扱ったのはその後であるとされており、YTPの部分を単に「1月」、「2月」と変更し、月が替わったことに対してリアクションする動画シリーズへと変貌している。
現在では『桃太郎電鉄』の月が替わる演出と同じ認識で、それ以外のユーザも使うようになっているが、上記の元ネタを知っているユーザは少ないとされる。

LOVEBITESという日本の女性メタルバンドの周辺がいまちょっと面白いことになっているので解説します。ヘヴィメタルに興味がない人も人間ドラマとして味わい深いのでよかったら読んでみてください。
LOVEBITESの動画には「私は今年70歳になるロックファンだが30年振りに夢中になれるニューバンドを見つけた」というような英語コメントが頻繁に書き込まれる。「LOVEBITESreaction」でYouTube検索すると膨大な量の海外リアクターの動画と、そこに書き込まれた膨大なオタク早口の英語コメントを見つけることができる。Wikipediaは日本語版より英語版の方がはるかに充実している。そういう存在のバンドだ。
世界中の音楽チャートがヒップホップやR＆Bといったダンスミュージック中心になってもう長いこと経つ。そんな中で日本のチャートは異様なほど独自の多様性がある。別の言い方をすると世界的な音楽トレンドから取り残されて、時代遅れのダサいとされている音楽も生き延びる余地があるユニークなシーンだ。
2010年代前半BABYMETALがアイドル＋メタルの企画物としてデビューした。しかしながらボーカルの歌声とメタルアレンジが本物すぎたので妙に受けた。特にメタル音楽がほぼ失速していた海外においてメタルファンが衝撃を受けた。それ以降、流行りの音楽とは別の嗜好を持った世界中の音楽ファンたちが日本のインディーバンドを熱心に発掘するようになった。
なぜ、日本ではロックバンドが生き延びているのか。アニメ「ぼっち・ざ・ろっく！」の設定にもあったが、80～90年代のバンドブーム世代の人たちがお父さんお母さんになり、親の聴くロックバンドの影響を受けた子供たち世代が出てきたのが今の日本だ。
BABYMETALと同時期に国内ではDESTROSEという女性ジャパメタバンドが活動していた。DESTROSEはメンバーも安定せず成功したとは言い難いが、現在のシーンを牽引するNEMOPHILA、FATE GEARなどのメンバーを輩出した重要バンドである。そしてまたLOVEBITESも元DESTROSEのメンバーが結成したバンドだ。
NEMOPHILAやLOVEBITESの世代の特徴は圧倒的に本格派という点にある。例外はあるが、それ以前の女性バンドは男性バンドにくらべると演奏技術がそれほど高くなかったり、どこか女性的なポップさがあったりした。だが今のバンドは演奏技術や音の志向において、もはや男女の区別は意味を持たない。
LOVEBITESの音楽は、アイアン・メイデンやジューダス・プリーストのようなパワーメタルと、ハロウィンやドラゴンフォースのようなメロディックスピードメタルの系譜にある。サビがメジャーコードのメロスピを演奏してさまになるのは国内では稀有な存在である。
日本人女性の発声はハイトーンになると細くキンキンしがちでメタルでは不利なことが多い。BABYMETALは、アイドル的な透明感がありつつ激しい演奏の中でもよく通るSU-METALの声が重要な成功要因であった。LOVEBITESのボーカリストasamiは低い音から高い音まで発声の気持ち良さが特徴で、他のボーカリストやボイストレーナーから発声に関する評価が非常に高い。やさぐれた感じがせず声を張り上げたりドスをきかせたりしてもどこか品がある点も過去にあまりいなかったタイプだ。さらにクラシックバレエの素養もあり、長いギターソロ中でも手持無沙汰になることなくパフォーマンスできる。
バラードはほとんどやらない。全員が鍵盤楽器を弾けて本格的なクラシックピアノが弾けるメンバーもいるが、これまで50曲近くリリースした中で最後まで激しい展開にならない純粋なスローバラードはわずか1曲のみである。基本的にはテクニカルでパワーとスピード命で、海外メタルのトレンドも踏まえた音楽性になっている。そのためデビュー後すぐに海外からも注目された。
デビューの翌年には英国のメタル雑誌でBEST NEW BANDを受賞して、その次の年にはドラゴンフォースの英国ツアーに参加している。
バンドも好調で、2020年のZepp DiverCityTOKYOのライブはもはや伝説的なクオリティだ。
そこまで注目されていたLOVEBITESだが、2021年ベースのmihoが脱退する。コロナの影響による環境変化でライブなどの活動ができなくなり、いろいろと思うところがあったようだ。mihoはバンドの創始者で初期の代表曲の多くを作詞作曲しており、LOVEBITESのコンセプトもmihoによるものが大きかった。そのためバンドはこのまま終わってもおかしくない状態と思われた。
2022年コロナ禍が徐々におさまる兆しが見えてきた中、残されたメンバーはベーシストオーディションプロジェクトを発表した。東京都内近郊を拠点として日本と世界各地で活動できること、というのが唯一の条件で、年齢・性別・国籍・プロ／アマ問わず応募可能としていた。
このオーディションには、すでにソロ活動で一定の評価を得ている彪（AYA）、一ノ瀬といった実力派ベーシストも参加した。
ここで登場するのがfamiだ。
YouTubeにやたらうまいベース動画を上げているJKがいると以前から話題になっていた配信者、登録者数は67万人もいるチャンネルなので一度は見たことがあるかもしれない。顔出しをせず、自室のドアの前で踊りながらスラップやタッピングを多用したトリッキーなアレンジでボカロ曲カバーを演奏する。リアルぼっちちゃんレベル100みたいなベーシストだ。
高校を卒業し、クラウド・ファンディングでソロアルバムを出し、すぐに川口千里のような若き実力派ミュージシャンとして活動していくものと期待されていたが、その後あまりうまくいっていなかったようでYouTubeチャンネルも数カ月更新が止まっていた。
それが2022年10月に「皆様に大切なお知らせがあります」という動画を突然公開した。
YouTuberの言う大切なお知らせはたいてい大切でもなんでもないしょうもないものと相場が決まっているがこれは違った。
LOVEBITESのオーディション最終選考に合格して、バンド側の発表動画も公開されたという内容をオタク早口でたたみかける内容だった。また、この動画から顔出しをしてカメラに向かってしゃべっており、アーティストとしてあらたな道を踏み出した決意を感じる。
どんなベーシストでも前任者のmihoと比べられてしまうのは避けられない。mihoは安定したリズムと時折見せるセンスの光るオブリガートの評価が高い王道メタルベーシストだった。手足の長い恵まれたスタイルに低く構えたベースのたたずまいはステージ映えしてLOVEBITESの悪そうでかっこいい側面を担っていた。
famiのキャラクターはそれとはまったく異なる。明るく楽しそうにぴょんぴょん飛び跳ねながら5弦ベースをスラッピングするベーシストだ。オーディション時点では19歳でおそらく他のメンバーとは10歳近い差があり新世代という印象だ。この新たな風こそがバンドの必要としていたものだった。
アイアン・メイデンのスティーヴ・ハリス的ベーシストが抜けてミスター・ビッグのビリー・シーン的ベーシストが加入しLOVEBITESは新体制となった。以前からfamiとLOVEBITESの両方を知っていたリスナーにとっては、別々の線がひとつに交差して、止まっていた二つの物語がトップスピードで再開するという衝撃的な嬉しいニュースとなった。
ただ、famiはトリッキーでテクニカルではあるもののメタルのベースが弾けるのか、と心配する声もあった。公開している曲はボカロカバーばかりだし、ソロアルバムもメタル色はなかったからだ。
そんな中、2023年2月22日に満を持してLOVEBITESの新アルバムがリリースされた。吉と出るか凶と出るかfamiにとってもバンドにとっても審判の日である。
そこにはBPM200の16分音符で凶悪かつスリリングにルートを刻むfamiがいた。ドラムとの相性もよくメタルのベーシストとしても超一流であることをfamiは実力で証明した。これを聴けばもう心配する人はいないだろう。実はLOVEBITES加入まで語られてこなかったがfamiもまたメタラー親父に英才教育を受けたメタラー二世だったのだ。
他方、バンドの方にも変化が見られた。アルバム発売日に公開された新曲のMVはいままでのLOVEBITESとかなり異なるものだった。曲のパワーとスピードはこれまで以上であるが、以前のようなメタルの美学的な映像ではなくカジュアルな服装で楽しそうにわちゃわちゃ演奏している明るいMVになっている。こういった演出もfami加入以前には考えられなかっただろう。
アルバムとしての評価も高く、すでに世界中のメタルチャートで一位となっている。
そして3月の復活ライブはチケットが瞬殺した。YouTubeコメントを見ると海外ファンも飛行機に乗ってこのライブを見るためにチケットを買ったらしい。その後も9月には国内ツアーが予定されている。完全復活である。近いうちに海外イベントにもまた出演するだろう。
世界中のメタルファンから今後のシーンを背負うことを期待され注目されているバンドが日本からうまれたことが素直にうれしい。

それで eiday eidei あたりを手当たりしだいに検索していると "A-Day" というワードに出会う。
これは空軍の導入日だったり、歴史的な文脈ではビキニ環礁での核実験を透過した日のことらしい（1946/7/1)
ところでエリントンの曲やジミヘンの曲に出てくる Atrain は「ア・トレイン」ではなく「エイ・トレイン」と発音されている。
この A は一体何なんだろうなと昔から思っていた。冠詞ではない。ネイティブのオーラルイングリッシュが変化していていっていて、
冠詞の a を「エイ」と発音するようになっていたのだとしても歌詞全体として「ある列車」では意味が通らないのだ。
エリントンの方は歌詞を覚えていないがジミヘンの方は「here my Atrainis coming.」だし（覚え間違いで「here mytrain A comin'」だった）。
大文字のAを「エイ」と読むことによって「例の」という意味とする感覚があるのではないかと思う。
再び『うっせぇわ』に戻る。

しかし前後の歌詞を見るに「その日」を特定する情報はなく、この歌詞の語り手にとって普遍的なことのように思われる。

リムワールドっていう生活シミュレーションゲームで、心情を悪くする行動のひとつに「テーブルなしで食べた(Ate withouttable)」っていうのがある。
心情へのマイナスは数値化されるんだけど、「友人が死んだ」が心情-9〜-3くらいなのに対してテーブルなしの食事は-3あって、そう考えるとなかなかのマイナス値だってことになる。ちょっとした友達が死んだくらいのイヤさがあるってことだ。
宇宙旅行中に未開の惑星に不時着し、サバイバルをする！っていうのが主題のゲームだから、テーブルなしの食事なんかでそんな精神的ダメージ受けててどうすんねん、甘えんなやという気持ちをほとんどのプレイヤーが抱えることになってるはず。
でもシステム上このメッセージはかなりの頻度で見ることになるので、だんだんプレイヤーの頭には「テーブルなしで食うのはつらい」という刷り込みもなされていく。

最近どひゃーってくらい精神がダウナーである。研究室行きたくねぇなぁ。
ちっとも人生へのやる気が出ない。仕事を作るやる気が起こらない。
きっとだんだん寒くなってきたせいだと思っている。私は躁鬱傾向で、冬季鬱になりやすいのだ。
特に段々寒くなる10月～12月は鬼門で、この時期は目標を低く保って、職場でダラダラしていても出勤するだけで合格ということにする。仕事しているフリくらいはする。今増田書いているのだって覗き込まれなければデスクワークしているようにしか見えない。というか今日休日出勤なんだからTA以外の時間以外は別に仕事をする義務はないはずである。
私は偉い。私は頑張っている。比較的ADHDなのでこの職種（研究職、しかも実験系の基礎研究）は向いていないんじゃないの？と思いながら、ひいこら作業しているだけでも合格としましょう。
そう、私本当に研究職でいいのか？という迷いはある。就活生なら皆持つのでしょうか。研究室生活は比較的楽しいけれど、ものすごく優秀で頭がいいかと言われればそんなことも無いし、どちらかと言えば別に頭は良くない。学部時代もうちょっと真面目に勉強しておけばよかった。
手先も別に器用ではない。マニュアル化された作業を手早くこなすのは比較的出来るから、まあ慣れてしまえば同じ作業の繰り返しである実験操作は1年たってようやく人並み程度に出来るようになったけれど、天性の猛烈な注意欠陥のせいでフラスコは比較的しょっちゅう割っている。困ったものである。ポンプを引くのを忘れてモノを壊したこともあった。
あと最近本当に成果が出ていなくて。研究が本当に進んでいないんですよ。1年半まともな成果が出せていない。上手くいかないとすぐフリーズしてしまうので、次どの条件を振ろうか半日くらい考えちゃう。これが短縮できると進みが早いのにな、と思いつつ、最近はセンセに相談しないで自分で決めたい期なのでぐずぐず考えながらやる。次条件振ったやつダメだったら先生に相談しよう。次どうするかまだ決めてないけど。
誰か私が信頼している人に「君は研究職に向いているから迷わず行けよ」と言って欲しいと思ってしまうけど、そうやって他力本願なのはいけないのだろうな。大学受験の時もそう、英語の先生に君理系っぽいね、と言われてから迷わず理系に行った。
基礎研究やっている人ってみんな段々病んでいくのかなぁ。どこもそうかなぁ。どこもそうだといいな。

研究室に病んで来てない人がいる、という事実は本当に他人の精神にくる。来るよね？M2のすごく好きだった先輩が結局鬱で全然来れてなくて、そもそも卒業が怪しいかもしれない。それも私の鬱を加速させる要因の一つである。だからこそ私の目標は毎日病まずに（病んでも）卒業まで通いきることである。私は残念ながらそんなに優秀ではないのだから（これもあまり言わない方がいいのかな、思い込みが加速するかな）、目標は低く。特に寒い時期は低く。
先生は比較的スケープゴートを作るタイプの人で、でもスケープゴートの人選に結構失敗して逆に信頼を失う人である。私入ったころから「スケープゴートにはなるまい」と思って愛想よく見せることと努力しているアピールと酒好きアピールは欠かさなかった。本当、スケープゴートを作るような職場は歪んでいる。私ここ入って本当にどんどん性格が歪んでいる。本当に嫌だ。でも私が病んでいることを研究室の環境とか教授のせいにすることは良くないのだろうか。

精神分析医のフィーリス曰く(1)､フロイト派のセラピーはビクトリア時代の人たちには､うまく機能していたが20世紀半ば以降､人々の｢性格の鎧｣の質が変わり､セラピーはうまく機能せずに行き詰まって失敗することが多かった｡
フロイト派の精神分析法は､｢幼少期の体験が成人してからの人格の基礎となる｣というものが骨子の一つ(2)だが､そのことに大打撃を与える調査が出てきた｡1990年代にマシュマロ実験の文献を詳しく調べたマーティン・セリグマンは、幼年期のできごとが成人してからの人格に影響を与えるということは、ひどい心的外傷や栄養失調があった場合にはありうるかもしれないが、それ以外では有力な証拠がほとんどないと結論づけている(3)。子供時代と成人してからの性質に、ごくわずかな相関は認められるが、それは主に遺伝的（生まれつきの）性質、つまり概して明るいとか気難しいといった性質の反映として説明できるという。
また心理学者のバウマイスター一同がフロイトの提唱する理論的メカニズムの数々を現代の文献と付き合わせて検証したところ､最も最悪な理論が昇華説だということが判明した(4)｡そもそも昇華説には根拠がない上､事実はその逆だと考えられる理由が多いからだ｡
もちろん､フロイトの理論は示唆的で興味深いものが多いし､余談だが｢快感原則の彼岸｣については現代思想の中ではかなり重要な位置づけになっている｡ラカンも執拗にこの論文にこだわるわけだしね｡
それに､フロイトの批判をしたバウマイスターは､フロイトの提唱する説でエネルギーが重要な位置に置かれていることに敬意を表して､フロイトが使っていた自己を指す言葉｢自我(エゴ)｣を使って､｢自我消耗｣という言葉を｢人の思考や感情や行動を規制する能力が減る現象｣に名付けた｡自我消耗に関しては､後に脳波記録検査法(EEG)で脳内の前帯状皮質におけるスパイク発火(エラー関連陰性電位)が対応する脳機能であることが確認された(5)｡
著名な心理学者であるスティーブン・ピンカーは､ 今回で言えば｢人生全体｣｢物語の蓄積｣｢人生の深み｣といったことで､科学の基本的研究方略である「単純化(simplify)」を退けようとしていることに苦言を呈している(6)。研究の対象をとなる複雑な現象をいろいろなレベルに単純化し、いろいろなレベルごとに 解明していくことを拒んで、複雑な現象をありのままに理解しようとしていたのでは研究はいつまでたっても現状に停滞したままになる。単純化を嫌って、複雑な現象を複雑なままで捉えようとする人文系学問に多く見られるのこうした研究方略を、ピンカーは完全な正確さを求めて「原寸大の地図」 を作った愚かな地図職人を描いたホルヘ・ルイス・ボルヘス(Jorge Luis Borges)の寓話で批判している｡
現代心理学の始まりがブント(Wilhelm Wundt: 1832-1920)のライプチヒ大学での心理学実験室創設とされるように、そのスタートから科学を目指したものだった(7)｡人文学の科学化と言っても、物理学や化学の実験を導入するのではなく､心理学の実験手法や神経科学の実験手法(EEG､fMRIなど)を取り入れればいいのである。また､国際的な科学的心理学の学会APS(Association for Psychological Science)の会長だったカシオッポはこうした点に注目し､心理学が科学と他の文系の学問とのハブとなるべきであると主張している(8)。
個人的には､人生全体からの人間理解やフロイト理論の人間理解よりも､人類史からの人間理解(進化心理学)(9)や神経科学からの人間理解の方(10)がより多くのことと整合性が有ると思うし､｢物語｣を一切考慮しないで休職者の約53%を予測したリシテア(11)といったことの研究に心理学がより一層取り組んでいくことを願ってるわ｡
