Youtubeで「ジョンと穴 (John and theHole)」という映画の動画が流れてきたので見てみた。
裕福な家庭に生まれた13歳のジョンが父母と姉を実家の裏の薮にあるコンクリートの竪穴に監禁するという話である。竪穴は映画の中ではbunkerとだけ呼ばれ何なのかは説明されないのだが、コンクリートでできた深さ5メートルぐらいの切り立った構造物で、未完成のシェルターや貯蔵庫とかなのかもしれない。ジョンの家庭は郊外の森の中にある大豪邸に住んでおり、ジョンと家族の関係は表面上は問題がないが、食卓の会話にはやや不穏な雰囲気が漂う。ある日ジョンは睡眠薬で家族を眠らせ、彼らを穴に放り込む。数週間の間、最低限の食料と水を穴の上から家族に与える一方で、ジョンは車を運転したりジャンクフードを食ったりといった逸脱を繰り返して、、といったあらすじである。
理不尽なスリラーで、話の唐突さや説明不足も相まって映画の評価自体はネットで見る限りそれほど芳しくなかったりする。ただ私にとっては、自分の中にかつて存在し、今もおそらく心の奥で消えていないだろう、家族に対する鬱積した気持ちや衝動を思い起こさせる作品だった。
四人家族の中で弟というのは、何かと雑に扱われる。兄や姉は両親や祖父母にとって特別な存在であるが、弟はそうではない(と少なくとも本人は何かにつけてそう感じる)。子供の時の数歳の違いは精神的にとてつもなく大きく、兄や姉には理屈で圧倒的にやり込められるしかない。兄には腕力でも全くかなわない。父親や母親の存在はそれにも増して絶対的であり、つまりは、自分は他の家族に対して圧倒的に劣った存在であり、自分の要求はなにも通すことができず、自分の不満は何一つ聞き入れられず、常に惨めな思いをするのである。
振り返れば、私の家族は私に対して十分に愛情深く、いま自分自身が親になった視点で考えてもおかしな育てられ方ではないのだが、それでも尚、私自身がそう感じていたのは紛れもない事実である。家族の行楽の行き先には自分の意見は聞き入れられない、見ていたテレビ番組について思ったことを話すと軽く揶揄されるといった、ただそれだけのことが毎日続くことでダメージを受けていたのである。
映画の中で象徴的なイメージとして示された、切り立ったコンクリートの壁は、弟である自身とそれ以外の家族の間に存在する絶対的な力の差であるように私には感じられた。弟である私は、常に切り立った壁の下の側にいて、家族3人から見下ろされているのだ。見下ろしている彼らは、そこに高低の差があって私を見下ろしているということすら自覚してない。私を見下ろすことが彼らの日常だからだ。そして彼らは私を穴の中に置き去りにして、上の世界で勝手気ままに楽しんでいる。
映画のジョンのように、私にも機会と手段があれば、両親と兄を穴の中に落としたのかもしれない。彼らは穴の中に落ちて、初めてそこに穴があったこと、切り立ったコンクリートの壁の絶望、壁の上から自分を見下ろす視線に気づくだろう。彼らは私に何か言うだろうから、それを私は聞き入れてやってもいいし、時には無視もするかもしれない。私は下にいる彼らに対して彼らが必要とするものを与えてやるだろう。そして私は切り立った壁の上で、彼らがそれまでにやっていたように、自分が思い望む好きなことをただ楽しむのだ。

ちなみにPuffとは、元ラッパーの実業家であり、現在女性に対する性的暴行や人身売買等、多数の疑惑で告発を受けて収監されているディディ(旧名パフ・ダディ)のことである。

藤井風とか曲に方言を持ち込む地方色を持つミュージシャンはいるものの、地名がテーマの曲となると東京だらけで共感性から地方は死んだのかなと感じた
わかるわかる。必ずしも私の考え方は貴殿の意見とは全面的には一致しないと思うが、これだけ技術が進歩しても未だに出てこない物を渇望する気持ちはよくわかるつもりだ。
私としてはまず人間が持つツルツルサラサラな肌の代替、すなわち人工皮膚をさっさと発明してくれと何度も願っているのだがなかなか一筋縄ではいかぬようである。
また現代のオナホの素材は、どうあがいても樹脂を使うしかない。貴殿のご指摘の通り、これは常にブリードの問題がつきまとう。サーモプラスチック・エラストマーだろうがシリコンだろうがぬるぬるでベタベタの油がじわあと滲み出る現実からは逃れられない。感覚的に言えば豚肉を素手で掴んだような感覚に近い。
数年前、G PROJECTから発売している「次世代HOLE HON-MONO[ホンモノ]人工皮膚」というもしや期待できそうな響きのオナホールを発見したのでさっそく購入したが、聞いて呆れる。触ってみればふつうの樹脂製のオナホールである。ブリードは少なめのようであるが「人工皮膚」を名乗れるクオリティだとは到底思えない出来であった。撫でていても虚しさしかなかった。

〈研究の内容〉
本研究はまず、2021年1月から12月までに収集された「ワクチン」を含む約1億件のツイートを収集し、機械学習を用いて「ワクチン賛成ツイート」「ワクチン政策批判ツイート」「ワクチン反対ツイート」の3クラスタを抽出した。次に、「ワクチン反対ツイート」を多くつぶやいたりリツイートしているアカウントを特定し、「ワクチン反対ツイート拡散アカウント」として定義した。そして、「ワクチン反対ツイート拡散アカウント」を多くフォローしているユーザを「ワクチン反対派」として定義した。
上記プレスリリースの中で「賛成」というワードは4回しか使われておらず、そのいずれにも「賛成派」の定義を示す文というものは存在しない。
幸いにも元論文がPublicで公開されているため、主にMethod項を見てまとめていきたい。
1. 「ワクチン」「vaccine」を含む日本語ツイート98,805,971個を取得する。
3.ツイートのクラスタリングを行い、20種のクラスターが作成される。
4. 上位3つ(検証ツイートの99%・リツイートの98%を占める)のクラスター(「ワクチン賛成ツイート;pro-vaccinetweets」「ワクチン政策批判ツイート;opposition to the government’s vaccine policy」「ワクチン反対ツイート;anti-vaccinetweets」)を検討する。
5.上記3クラスターのツイートを行ったアカウントとRTしたアカウントを集計する(「ワクチン賛成ツイート拡散アカウント:1,382,065」「政府批判拡散アカウント:248,699」「ワクチン反対ツイート拡散アカウント:196,936」)。
6.上記3種のアカウントからそれぞれ50,000アカウントずつ無作為に抽出し、フォロー中のワクチン反対ツイート拡散アカウントの割合を算出する。
7. "ワクチン反対ツイート拡散アカウント/総フォローアカウント"の割合でソートし、上位25%(全体の12.3%以上)を"High anti-vaccinegroup"、下位25%(全体の0.24%未満)を"Low anti-vaccinegroup"とする。
ということで増田冒頭の「フォローアカウントのうち、ワクチン反対ツイートをした/RTしたアカウントの割合が少ないアカウント」ということになる。
これを「賛成派」という言葉で表現するのは実態を表しているようにはみえない。
しかし、元論文においてはこのような表現がほぼされていないといっていい。
基本的に日本語プレスリリースにおける「反対派」「賛成派」は上記メソッドで出たHighgroup/Lowgroupとして表現されている。「反ワクチン性が高いグループ」「反ワクチン性が低いグループ」といったところ。
ただ、「ワクチン反対派」に類するフレーズは度々使われている(元からしてHigh/Lowanti-vaccinegroupだし)。
一方のLowgroupでは、anti-vaccineに対してpro-vaccineという表現が使われている。が、ほぼ全ての用法で発言・ツイートに対してのみ使われており人に対して使われるケースは殆どない(イントロダクションに一回だけある)。
論文では誤解がないような表現にしているにも関わらずプレスリリースで「賛成派」という適切にはみえない表現を使うのはミスリーディングと言われても仕方ないのではないかと感じる。
