今回マンガワンアプリのほうでは第10話が更新され、プロローグ的な最初の章が終わりを迎え、大方の登場人物の関係構図が固まることとなった。まだ読んでない人も、1話以降読まなくなった人も、アプリで全話読めるんで読んでみてほしい。最新話の10話ラストが神レベルの次回への引きなので、小学館にはこの10話までを単行本第1巻にまとめてほしい。
簡単にあらすじ紹介。主人公は渡辺くんという高卒派遣の倉庫作業員19歳男性。性格は悪くないがコミュニケーションに難ありでぼっちなのに承認欲求高めなせいでいつも失敗ばかりしてしまうがスーパーポジティブ論理的思考力でもって反省することないので成長もできない、ネットでは弱者男性と嘲笑される部類の人である。
もう1人ダブル主人公的なヒロインとして登場するのが飯山さんという私立大社会学部に通う19歳女性。性格がよく誰に対してもリスペクトを持ち対等な人間として会話することができ、いつも世のため人のために自分が何をできるかを考えているが、その思いが強い分だけ上級国民の親の元に生まれて何不自由なく生活できる自分の状況に複雑な感情もある。
あらすじをざっくり語ると、渡辺くんが飯山さんに恋をして陰謀論にハマってしまう物語。こう書くと飯山さんが陰謀論に引き込むような気がするが、そうではなくて渡辺くんが勝手にハマってくだけ。飯山さんはほんとステキでいい子だから勘違いするなよ。
飯山さんは社会をもっと良くしたいという夢があって、渡辺くんもそれに感化されていくのだが、飯山さんは恵まれた立場から社会を良くするために努力して勉強して頑張るのに対し、渡辺くんは底辺の境遇から「社会が悪いのはあいつのせいだ」と陰謀論にハマっていく。
漫画の見どころはとにかく渡辺くんがダメすぎるところで、このダメさも始めのうちはギャグになって笑えるんだけど段々と回を増すごとに笑えなくなっていきハラハラドキドキが止まらなくなる。渡辺くんへの共感性羞恥で続きを読むのが辛いんだけど、渡辺くんを放っておくとヤバいことしでかしそうで続きを見なきゃいけない気分になる。作品のコメントで「部屋に出たゴキブリのような漫画」とあったけどまさにそれ。
読んでて渡辺くんの行動への共感性羞恥が激しく湧き起こるところや陰謀論の話なんかは、ネット民の大好物のはずなのに全然話題が盛り上がらなくておかしさを感じる。
特にはてブで第一話以降、ブクマがつかなくなったのがおかしい。
