高校野球がらみで「日本の学校の校歌は日本語でなければ」などと言っている人がいるけれど、ICU高校の校歌は40年前から英語だよ。

この歌詞の2番「人種や信条にかかわらず理解する努力をすることを誓う」って、この排除や差別が横行するご時世には特にすばらしいと感じるよ。

まあ野球部はあるけれど、あまり勝てないので、甲子園でこの校歌が流れることはなさそうだけれど……。
