guys "Karin" anime is based on its manga counterpart right?... until what volumes/chapters or what volumes/chapters did the anime cover in the manga ?

Until ep7 it covers the manga. After episode 7 it separates almost completely from the manga and almost has its own story (many references and basic stuff form the manga remains). Then, in the last 2-3 episodes, it creates a completely new ending different form the manga.

And I think I prefer the anime ending to what was done in the manga...

the anime ending....... well yeah kinda,, i didnt like the ending in the manga,,, too sad, the anime had a decent ending though, when i first finished watching the entire series i had hoped there that there would be more hehe
