The beginning episodes were interesting, because they demonstrated just how difficult it was to get an LBX. As the series moved on this became less of an issue for everyone it seemed.

How the world's fate was tied to this hobby was well explained too, despite how long it took to reach a conclusion. I suppose it was mainly to showcase a variety of LBX for the kids to enjoy.
