Very interesting OAV. Too bad it the story was left incomplete.
Since the manga is 9 volumes, I guess this is not even half the story.

Richer and poor women meet gangsters in 1920, manigances and some heavy situations going on. With good music and great drawings!

Kasei Yakyoku is a very interesting Josei OVA series directed by the legend Osamu Dezaki, with art and designs by the other legend Akio Sugino.
The story is about social classes, poverty, Yakuzas, romantic relationships, and natural disasters.
The concept is superv, the characters, although not very fleshed out, they shine in their way.
The setting, the fights, how the characters feel and think, as well as the environment are very realistic.
But the biggest problem is the duration, just 4 episodes were made, and it ends abruptly in a part that demands more material,
since a lot of questions were unaswered, and the series didn't continue.
As a hole, it's interesting to see and appreciate for his intentions, but probably you will end dissapointed.
