Definitely the version to get. It's better than shinsen and mishi.

Encoding: very good.
Timing: very good.
Typesetting: very good.
Translation: very good.
Karaoke: very good, love it @ D4RK-PH0ENiX.

10/10 hands down.... Perfect translation ("Louis" is romanized properly, etc), good filesize, excellent video quality....

maybe only the speed is a bit slow compared to mishi.....

so mishi->watching only, a-keep->archive

Video quality as good as the other 720p releases of other groups. Audio not as loud as Mishi's but still good. This group has the best translation - it's concise but accurate which is the opposite of Mishi's and SHS. Playback has no problems the same as SHS unlike with Mishi's. This is the best fansub for DTB. The only problem is that they have slow releases and are likely to drop this once it gets licensed.

video
1.Mishicorp mp4 + sudo mkv
2.A-Keep mkv
3.Shinsen mkv
4.Mishicorp avi
5.Shinsen avi
IMO sudo's mkv release equals Mishi’s mp4 relase. same sharpness and color. filesize is nearly the same too. A-Keep isn't bad either, but it seems to have slightly less color - a bit yellowish... not much but hey! with a 280+ file, one can expect better. Shinsen has the worst videoquality regarding their mkv release, but the filesize is the lowest with 170+. Comparing the avi releases of Mishi and Shinsen, Mishi has the better quality.

Translation
1.A-Keep
2.sudo
3.Mishicorp+Shinsen
IMO A-Keep has the truest translation. sudo is better than Mishi. Shinsen isn't bad either, but they seem to translate more in a general tenor. What goes for Shinsen is that they translate the small japanese lines so you get additional info. I put Mishi and Shinsen on 3rd, M for errors and S for "slang".

Edit: changed rating, cause I mistook sudos translation for Mishis (I had 6 mpc windows open)

continuation from sildrake...

Fonts:
I actually like Shinsen's fonts. Dunno, but the standart white-block-letters of the other groups start to bore me. In the end it's a mater of preferences. All groups have fairly easy readable fonts.

Sound:
I only have a basic on-board soundchip, so I’m really not the one to judge this. All I can say is that Mishi’s XviD-avi release is the loudest. Everything else sounds nearly the same to me.

Karaoke: I don't care. IMO Karaoke is overrated anyway. One group can have wonderful Karaoke, but what good is it, when the rest sucks?

Final conclusion:
If you have the HDD-space and want the best translation, then take A-Keeps version. If you don't, then take sudo's or Mishi's HQ releases.
If you only want to watch or want to store it on one 4.7 GB DVD, then then take Shinsens's mkv.
